Trading files will never end.

:: The Music and Film industry are fighting hard to close down every torrent and P2P site they can. In doing so they are spending millions that just may outweigh the “loss” they acquire due to this trading of files they are trying to stop in the first place. Fact, we trade music and movies and there is nothing anyone can do to stop it. If not on the Internet, people also trade files in person and over wireless networks.

:: I have my files on my PC, anyone of my friends can just come over, I give them the password and they are on my network with access to all 8000 of my MP3 files and my 200+ avi files. So they can at any time copy them to their laptop and the MPAA and the RIAA can’t do anything to stop that.

:: I also have both a CD R and a DVD R that I can just burn my files to a disc and send them through the mail or give them to friends. Again the RIAA and MPAA can’t stop this. File trading is fact, it is here to stay and there is nothing that can be done to stop it. It is just like people who post images on the Internet who think people can’t copy them. If you have an image or photo up on the Internet anyone can copy it and you cannot keep anyone from doing so.

RIP Loki Torrent

:: Some of us posted files to Loki Torrent and used it as a tool. Along with me and others even the Adult Industry got that P2P’s were a tool that you could use to get your product to your customer and also a way to get advertising out to gain new customers.

:: The MPAA closed down Loki Torrent, I feel anyone who was hurt bu this that posted legal files to Loki Torrents or others that have lost due to this action should ban together and sue the MPAA for our loss.

File sharing MP3's, AVI's and more with P2P

Napster was the start and the first to go, but far from the last. www.kazaa.com, www.winmx.com, and www.limewire.com are still up. There is also Bit Torrent and other sites that offer great ways to share files with other users worldwide. MP3 music files and others are shared more and more even with the RIAA and others trying to kill it. The Porn industry unlike others is even using the P2P system to advertise. This is the boat that the Music industry and Hollywood has missed completely.

File sharing is here and it will not go away. The more the industry’s that are trying to kill it try, the more tricks the users will come up with to beat them. So what files are being shared? Yes, MP3’s, AVI’s, and others are all over the place. However not all are owned by Hollywood and the music industry. There are plenty of other files that people share and the closing of P2P sites isn’t fair for us who share out files that are not under copyright laws.

I use WinMx the most as Kazaa is too full of ad ware, pop-up’s, and pop-under ads it slows my computer down and kills my network. Lime Wire is just about the same. I found I have no trouble, no ads, and no pop-ups with WinMx and I trade my 8900 files openly on the WinMx P2P system. The deal is simple, I got the files for free so I share them back for free. Even Playboy Magazine has seen the value in the P2P system for selling their products.
